ADA Sign Depot Announces Launch of Direct-To-Customer Ecommerce Website
SAN DIEGO — June 1, 2013 — Today ADA Sign Depot announced immediate availability of their extensive product lines of ADA Compliant Signage direct to corporate and individual buyers through its new secure ecommerce website, ADASignDepot.com.
“The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) was passed in 1990. Since 1992 our Northern California plant has made and sold compliant signs exclusively to other sign companies who did not have the specialized equipment, experience or knowledge necessary for manufacturing ADA compliant signage,” said David Boyne, sales manager at ADA Sign Depot, San Diego. “Our new secure ecommerce website allows small business owners, property managers and other corporate and individual buyers a way to purchase the California and National ADA compliant signs they need directly from our factory.”
With its plant in Northern California and an inventory of signs in the new San Diego office, the goal is to make fast delivery the standard. Boyne said, “For commonly needed ADA signs, like restroom signs, exit and entrance signs, we can ship the same day a customer places an order. That means our California customers are going to have delivery as early as the next business day. Without having to pay for expedited shipping.”
Boyne added, “For orders over $95, we even pay for UPS Ground shipping anywhere in the continental United States.”
A Reputation for Consistent Excellence
Many customers have already indirectly benefited from compliant signs produced by ADA Sign Depot’s plant but sold through other sign companies for over 20 years. With the company’s new ecommerce website, for the first time consumers and corporate buyers will have factory-direct access to stock and custom-made ADA compliant Braille and non-Braille signs.
“All the signs available on our website come with our money-back guarantee,” said Boyne. “If you buy a sign from us that is rejected by a licensed CASp (California Access Specialist) for any flaw in materials, design, or manufacturing, the signs can be returned for a full refund. We’ll even pay for the return shipping.”
Asked how often this has happened, Boyne said, “It hasn’t happened. Sometimes or an architect may spec the incorrect sign for a given situation, causing a customer to purchase a sign that an inspector will not accept. That’s one reason we offer free and unlimited consultation in selecting ADA signs. When a customer knows the correct sign they need to achieve compliance, we can make it for them. Whether the sign is made with Rowark® plastics, including luminous LaserGlow®, or Eco-Boo® bamboo, or brushed aluminum, we have never had a sign rejected for incorrect layout or design, Braille, letter heights, or materials.”
